RadVJ Support

Help, answers and a direct line to us for RadVJ, the two-deck video mixer for macOS. If your answer isn't here, send us a message through the contact form and it comes straight to us. We read every message, from feature requests to bug reports, and usually reply within five business days.

Requirements

  • macOS 14 Sonoma or later
  • Apple silicon or Intel Mac
  • A second display or projectorFor full-screen output. Optional: RadVJ works on one screen.

Getting started

  • Load your clipsDrag video files or a whole folder onto the clip grid, or use Open Files or Open Folder in the toolbar. Your library is saved automatically and reloads next launch. Supported formats include .mp4, .mov and .m4v.
  • Play somethingLeft-click a clip to load it onto the inactive deck and start playback. Right-click loads it without triggering a fade, so you can pre-cue.
  • Blend the two decksDrag the X-FADE slider between Deck A and Deck B. TAKE (Return) fades to whichever deck you pre-loaded. AUTO mode crossfades the moment you click a clip; MANUAL holds until you fire it.
  • Send output to a projectorMove the Player window to your second display and send it full screen. Video is aspect-fit and centred on black.

The complete user guide is built into the app: open Help from the RadVJ menu.

Common questions

A clip disappeared from my library

RadVJ remembers clips by a secure reference to the file, not a copy. If the file was moved, renamed or deleted, or lived on a drive that isn't connected, the tile is dropped automatically so the library stays clean. Reconnect the drive or re-import the file.

Nothing appears on my second display

The Player window is a separate window. Drag it onto the display you want, then send it full screen. If the display is mirrored in System Settings, Displays, switch to Extended so the Mac treats it as a second screen.

How do the free trial and subscription work?

RadVJ Pro includes a 7-day free trial, then continues monthly or yearly unless cancelled. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple Account and managed entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.

How do I cancel, or get a refund?

Cancel any time from System Settings, then your name, Media & Purchases, Subscriptions, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancelling during the trial means you're never charged. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

I paid already but RadVJ is asking me to subscribe

Click Restore Purchases on the subscription screen, or in Settings. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account used for the original purchase.

What data does RadVJ collect?

None. There is no analytics, no telemetry and no account. Your clips never leave your Mac. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
